GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR ONLINE TICKETING
Article 1 - Purpose
Any purchase on the internet of entrance tickets to the Vallorbe Caves made with the company Vallorbe Caves SA and falling within the scope of these terms and conditions of sale entails acceptance without reservation of these conditions, notwithstanding any contrary provision.
Article 2 - Application of the T&Cs
The T&Cs apply to any ticket sale made via online ticketing. The Customer acknowledges having read and accepted the T&Cs before placing an order.
Article 3 - Ticket Features
Tickets sold on online ticketing provide access to the Vallorbe Caves SA, according to the conditions and schedules defined by the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify schedules and access conditions without prior notice.
Article 4 - TICKET PURCHASE
To purchase a print@home ticket, the customer must log on to the website www.grottesdevallorbe.ch and fill in the required fields to place an order.
Once the transaction is completed, the customer receives confirmation of their purchase by email with a barcode. This email constitutes the print@home ticket. The print@home ticket can be printed by the customer on blank A4 paper or presented on electronic media.
Article 5 - Ticket Prices
Ticket prices are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT. The Company reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Prices are indicated based on the normal rates in effect at the time of ordering. This rate applies subject to occasional promotional offers. Some offers may be time-limited or sold out (temporarily or permanently) due to demand.
Article 6 - Order and Payment
The Customer places an order by selecting the desired tickets and following the steps of the ordering process. Payment is made online by credit card via a secure payment system.
For orders placed over the internet, there are no handling fees. The customer can print their own print@home ticket with the barcode.
For online ticket orders (print@home ticket), only payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Postfinance), TWINT is accepted.
Online payment is made in accordance with the general conditions of the Worldline payment system.
Payments made on the Website are secured by the use of encryption ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data.
Article 7 - Order Confirmation
The Company sends the Customer an order confirmation by email. This confirmation summarizes the information relating to the order, including the tickets purchased, the total price, and the date of the visit. Vallorbe Caves SA does not send tickets by postal mail, fax, or SMS.
Article 8 - Cancellation and Modification
Tickets, even if unused, are neither modifiable, nor exchangeable, nor refundable even in case of loss or theft and not cumulative with promotional offers.
Article 9 - TICKET VALIDITY
Print@home tickets must be presented at the cave turnstile scanner and are not valid without a barcode.
Vallorbe Caves SA reserves the right to refuse access to the caves or any of its facilities to the holder of a Ticket if the ticket is illegible, tampered with, damaged, incomplete, partially printed, or falsified.
Tickets provide access to Vallorbe Caves facilities open to the public only on the day and time of the holder's visit, subject to access restrictions based on age or visitor safety.
The Family rate includes a minimum of 2 adults and 2 to 6 children (up to 15 years old).
Conditions for guided tour reservations
To benefit from a guided tour, the reservation must be:
made at least 5 working days before the visit
confirmed by our reservation service
Once confirmed, guided tour reservations are valid exclusively for the purchased service and for the specified date and time. Even if unused, they are neither returnable, nor exchangeable, nor refundable.
In case of delay or no-shows:
For delays of more than 15 minutes, the guided tour will be shortened.
For delays of more than 30 minutes, the guided tour will be canceled and not refunded. Participants will receive an explanatory visit notice for an individual tour.
For no-shows, the guided tour will be canceled.
Unless otherwise indicated or combined offer including the entrance fee, the entrance fee is due for each participant in addition to the guided tour.
It is recommended to allow 10 minutes between parking and the start of the tour.
Only official guides of Vallorbe Caves SA are authorized to lead groups in the caves unless requested.
Ticket holders leaving the Vallorbe Caves premises cannot re-enter with the same ticket.
Any resale of a ticket at a price higher or lower than that stated on the front is strictly prohibited.
Conditions for gift cards
The gift card entitles its owner, after full payment of the order and during the validity period, to the right to purchase a visit service online and on-site. It can also be used to purchase a product in the shop or at the refreshment stand. In any case, it is only valid with a barcode. The owner can settle their bill with the gift card in full or in part, at once or several times, within the limit of the available balance.
The validity of the gift card is 12 months from its date of issue (date of purchase of the gift card). The expiration date of the gift card is noted on it.
The gift card is transferable and can be used multiple times until the total balance is consumed.
Cash refund of the value or balance before or upon expiration of the gift card is excluded.
The gift card cannot be resold.
Article 10. ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE CONDITIONS
The Conditions apply to any ticket purchase from January 1, 2024.
Article 11. MODIFICATION OF THE CONDITIONS
Vallorbe Caves SA reserves the right to modify all or part of the Conditions, including ticket prices, without notice. These modifications come into effect on the date indicated in the conditions.
Article 12. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the provisions of articles 8 and 9 of the Federal Act on Data Protection of June 19, 1992, personal data collected from a buyer are subject to computer processing intended to manage visitor access to the Vallorbe Caves and, with the buyer's agreement, to send commercial offers. The recipients of the data are Vallorbe Caves and, with the buyer's agreement, Vallorbe Caves' commercial partners.

Article 13 - Liability
The Company declines all liability in the event of an accident, loss, or theft occurring on the premises of Vallorbe Caves SA.
Vallorbe Caves SA declines all liability for the expulsion from the caves premises of a visitor who has violated the internal regulations of these spaces. The said visitor cannot claim any compensation or refund of their ticket.
Vallorbe Caves SA reserves the right to refuse the holder of a ticket access to the caves or any of the attractions, shows, or facilities on the chosen day of the visit, due to, for example, high attendance, weather conditions, or maintenance operations, without the ticket holder being entitled to any compensation or refund of their ticket.
The liability of Vallorbe Caves SA, which is only subject to an obligation of means regarding online sales, cannot be engaged for damages inherent in the use of the Internet network, including a service interruption or the presence of a computer virus.
Article 14 - Intellectual Property
The content of online ticketing is protected by intellectual property. Reproduction or distribution of all or part of the content of online ticketing is prohibited without the express authorization of the Company.
Article 15. COMPLAINT

Article 16 - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The T&Cs are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute relating to the application of the T&Cs shall be the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Vaud.
Validation of the order - acceptance of the general conditions, by checking the box "I have read and accept these general conditions", the ticket buyer accepts these general conditions without reservation.
